About Us

Who We Are

The Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation (formerly St. Joseph's Care Foundation) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to improving community-based health care services in the City and County of Peterborough by supporting our local medical community.

Formerly St. Joseph's Care Foundation, we are proud to carry on the enduring legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who first inspired the formation of this organization.

What We Do

We respond to our community's needs by raising funds for needed equipment, education, and research, while fostering preventative action and promoting better living including innovative initiatives such as the Youth Sports Concussion Program.

Who We Support

We support the 5 Peterborough Networked Family Health Teams (FHTs) in the City and County of Peterborough with needed equipment, education, and research opportunities.

The 5 Peterborough Networked Family Health Teams are the Chemong FHT, Greater Peterborough FHT, Medical Centre FHT, Peterborough Clinic FHT, and the Peterborough Community FHT. Click here to learn more.
