The legal name of the Foundation is the ‘Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation’.
Your privacy is very important to us and it’s something that we take very seriously. Experts have established that using your credit card online is as safe as using your card with other methods. Your credit card number is secured and sent directly to the Foundation. The information is encrypted and only the Foundation can read it.
The Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation is a registered charity and we issue receipts for most donations. We accept cash, cheques, and credit card donations and give receipts for gifts over $10. Monthly donors receive one receipt annually. Gifts of property, stock and other similar items are subject to certain conditions. As a donor to the GPHSF, you will be helping the Foundation to support initiatives that will continue to improve access and quality of health care in the Greater Peterborough Area.
Family Health Teams are resourced by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care for a certain number of positions. The Foundation will support the development of projects that will further the ability of community-based health care services to provide innovations in the delivery of health care with the Family Health Teams, specialists and community health service partners.
Yes. When a memorial gift is made, we acknowledge your generousity with a personalized card to the family or individual that is being honoured. However, we do not disclose the amount of the gift.

Absolutely not! We do not share, trade or sell our donor mailing lists, and take great care to protect our donor information. The Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our donor’s personal information.
Any information collected by us assists us in proper administration, acknowledgement and receipting of your gift, reporting on the use of your gift, informing you of special events, and providing information on ways to support the Foundation.

Monthly gifts offer many benefits including convenience and the ability to make a larger yearly donation through small increments. Signing up for monthly giving also reduces the Foundation’s administrative costs, meaning that more of your dollars will directly support the Primary Health Care Services of Peterborough.
