Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation (GPHSF) is happy to share that $34,000 has been donated to youth mental health services in the Peterborough area. This donation was made possible through the funds raised at the 2025 Tebey Golf Classic presented by Bell Let’s Talk and KX 105. The Tebey Golf Classic was June 26th at Wildfire Golf Course.
As co-beneficiaries of the Tebey Golf Classic, Peterborough Youth Services and YES Shelter for Youth and Families each received $17,000 to continue their work supporting youth in our community. We thank them for the tireless work that they do and are happy that we can support that work.
This donation could not be possible without the golfers, sponsors and donors who support the event each year. To you we are grateful. We are also grateful to Tebey, his family, and his team for being a face and a voice for youth mental health. Thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm. Since the events inception in 2017 over $280,000 has been raised to support youth mental health in the Peterborough area.
Finally, thank you to our organizing committee who volunteer their time to help put on a great event and generate as much money as they can for youth mental health. The committee is Barry Black, Wendy Hill, Judy Ruttle, Todd Sargent and Brian Young, along with GPHSF staff Susan Owen and Vince Bierworth.
We look forward to a great fundraiser in 2026, which will be the 10th anniversary of the Tebey Golf Classic. More details will be available in the new year. In the meantime, if you would like to donate, please click here.
About the Tebey Golf Classic
Since 2017 the annual Tebey Golf Classic has raised funds, in partnership with Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundatin (GPHSF), to support youth mental health programming across the Peterborough region. Through the generosity of the golfers, sponsors, partners and donors more than $280,000 has been raised. Funds from the event have helped to reduce wait times and to provide specialized services for children, youth and families, while also supporting young people and families struggling with their mental health while experiencing homelessness in Peterborough.
